The variety of habitats creates a variety of birds and butterflies accordingly. Whereas the semi-desert attracts various wheatears, larks and scrub robins, forest provides habitat for all the forest raptors, living in Armenia, and the cliffs host rock nuthatches, rock thrushes, and vultures. The area also attracts various butterflies in almost all the families.
